April Fools Ride & Art Contest
Every April the bike shop in downtown Fort Morgan hosts a bike ride (free for the 1, 2, and 5 mile rides, $25 for the 25 mile ride) and part of it involves six bicycle giveaways for 3rd graders as a coloring/drawing/artwork contest prize!
1: The artwork should be done on a blank white 8.5″x11″ piece of paper. Kids can use crayons, colored pencils, ink, charcoal, glue pictures onto the paper – whatever they want to do. The term “coloring contest” should be very broadly interpreted.
2: Do NOT put any name on the artwork. Use a cover sheet of some sort that has the child’s name, teacher’s name (your name), school name (homeschool), and your contact info.
3: The theme of the artwork should be “An Adventure on your Bicycle.”
Artwork must be turned into the Bicycle Adventure by March 7.
Winners will be announced at the April 12th ride.
Riders at the April 12 event can be any age – it’s not just for kids. Everyone who participates gets free ice cream afterward.
No registration is required for the bike ride
