WHY FAMILIES JOIN
Homeschooling is a gift. It shouldn’t be a burden.
Many families begin homeschooling with excitement, then quietly discover it can be overwhelming without support. MCHN exists so no family in Morgan County has to walk that road by themselves.

"Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their toil."

— Ecclesiastes 4:9

Feeling Isolated

Homeschooling at home, day after day, can feel lonely without others walking the road with you.

Lack of community

Families long for a circle of like-minded friends who share their faith and values.

Friendships for kids

Children need consistent friendships and shared experiences outside the home.

Questions & doubts

Curriculum, the law, socialization, burnout, every parent has questions. You shouldn’t answer them alone.

WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT

More than activities. A family of families.

MCHN isn’t a co-op replacement or a program calendar. We’re a community of Christian families committed to walking together for the long haul.

Christ-Centered Foundation

Every gathering, friendship, and conversation is rooted in the gospel of Jesus Christ and biblical truth.

Statement of Faith

A clear, biblically grounded statement of faith that families can trust and stand on together.

Parent-Led Community

Not a school. Not a program. A community built by parents, for parents, who share your convictions.

Family Discipleship

We support parents as the primary disciplers of their own children — a sacred role we never replace.

Local Mentorship

Experienced homeschool parents walk alongside new families with encouragement and honest counsel.

Long-Term Friendships

Friendships forged over years, not classes that end in May. Community over programs, always.

  • At least one trip every month
  • Curated for multi-age families
  • Carpool-friendly across the county
ONCE A MONTH

Activity Days

The heartbeat of MCHN. Activity Days happen once a month, where friendships form through art, projects, games, read-alouds, and unstructured play that knits children and parents together.

  • One gathering each month
  • Hosted at parks or Fort Morgan Churches
  • Built around community, not curriculum
ANNUAL KICKOFF

Family Day & Registration Kickoff

Our annual Family Day doubles as the official kickoff to the school year, a celebration where new and returning families gather, meet leadership, and complete registration for the year ahead.

  • Whole-family celebration
  • Meet members and leadership
